Engineering projects are judged on whether the method can be trusted and whether the results are validated. Esmond reads your report for the reasoning behind your design, model or experiment, and flags where conclusions rest on untested assumptions.
See how Esmond worksEvery model and every test rig rests on assumptions: steady state, linear material behaviour, ideal sensors, a simplified load case. Reports often state them once in a list and then forget them. Esmond checks whether your assumptions come back when you interpret results, and whether a conclusion depends on one you have not tested.
It also looks for scale jumps, such as a result from a bench-scale prototype presented as if it held for a full-size system.
Engineering reports carry much of their content in graphs and tables. Esmond reads what you write about them: whether the text interprets a figure or only points at it, and whether the claim in the paragraph matches the trend in the data you describe. It does not check your calculations or redraw your plots.
You upload your draft as a PDF. Short documents come back within minutes; a full dissertation takes longer. You get two things back: your own document with comments in the margin, and a separate feedback report that sets out what to tackle first. Every upload starts with a free preview, and the price follows the length of your document and is shown before you pay. No subscription, no account.
Esmond evaluates your work and writes nothing for you. Each comment points to a passage, explains what a supervisor or examiner might question, and gives a direction for revising it. You decide what to change, and every sentence stays yours.
Esmond is preparing its launch in Ireland and is not taking orders here yet. This page explains what the review does, so you know what to expect when it opens.
Yes. It reads whether design decisions are justified against requirements and constraints, and whether the evaluation shows the design does what it set out to do.
No. It reads the written reasoning. Calculations, units and code remain for you and your supervisor to verify.
